Higher and Degree Level apprenticeships are developed by Kent, employers and professional bodies working in partnership.

Features of Apprenticeships
Apprentices are employed throughout the programme, spending approximately 20% of their time studying with the University and the rest with their employer.
The minimum duration of each apprenticeship is based on the apprentice working 30 hours a week, including any off-the-job training they undertake.
Programmes last from one to six years, depending on the level. To be eligible for an English Apprenticeship, candidates must spend 50% of their working time located in England.
Higher vs. Degree Level
Our programmes offer the opportunity to obtain a degree while working, combining earning and learning seamlessly.
Higher apprenticeships
offer Level 4 qualifications or above, including NVQ Level 4, HND, or foundation degrees, and can progress to Level 7 (which is postgraduate degree level).
Degree apprenticeships
allow students to earn a full Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
