Stay On Track
Free Passport Photos
Apply directly to your program provider/host institution. The instructions can be
found on your
Global Gateway
application, or you can contact your
Global Education Advisor
.
Submit courses abroad for Chapman credit through the Global Course Request (GCR) form
in your Chapman application to ensure you can receive credit for courses taken abroad.
Attend the mandatory
pre-departure orientation
and complete
Global Studies 101,
a non-credit-bearing online educational tool, to help prepare you to maximize your
global experience. You will be emailed with instructions.
Apply for
study abroad scholarships
to help offset costs. Many are available, but applications can be due 1-2 semesters
before departure.
Plan early!
Consider
visas
,
housing
,
health and safety
and
diversity, access, and identity
before going abroad.
Browse resources for traveling, such as transportation, travel guides, food, and other
essentials.
If you change your mind about studying abroad,
review the
program refund policies
.
