Volunteering is a work of heart
Volunteer at Canuck Place
As a Canuck Place volunteer, you help families create lasting memories. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Without this dedicated group, we couldn’t provide the exceptional care and comfort families count on.
Canuck Place volunteers support us in a range of ways. From baking cookies to helping a child with a craft project, they ensure short lives are lived to the fullest.
Please note: the minimum age requirement for Family Volunteers is 18, and 16 for all other roles
Volunteer applications are currently open for our Abbotsford hospice location only!

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
Interested in volunteering in Vancouver?
Please submit your interest
here
and we will notify you as soon as recruitment opens. Please note submission to this interest form is not an application. We will also update this webpage once applications for Vancouver open.
Please note that due to the high level of interest, our recruitment process for the peer and family roles in Vancouver is selective and competitive. Intake cycles vary by site as they are conducted on an as-needed basis to best support the identified needs of our children, families, and staff. We welcome ongoing interest for all of our support roles (i.e. Kitchen, Reception, and Housekeeping). This process helps us ensure we are providing a meaningful and positive experience for those we serve as well as for our volunteers.
