Hailed for its top-of-the-line medical center, CU Anschutz Medical Campus is globally recognized for its comprehensive research, teaching and clinical programs in medicine, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, physical therapy and nursing.
The medical campus is the largest academic-based health care provider in the Rocky Mountains, at the forefront of transformative education, science, medicine and health care. Its two nationally ranked hospitals see more than 2 million patients each year.
The campus services more than 4,500 students, in more than 40 highly rated degree programs across six schools and colleges, supported by $692 million in research awards in fiscal year 2022 – creating an overall economic impact to the state of Colorado of $8.5 billion. The innovative nature of the campus is responsible for over 1,300 patent applications and 53 new companies that stemmed from campus research since 2002.

Under the leadership of the CU President, the System office provides vital administrative support services, encompassing myriad duties, such as enterprise IT services, benefits, payroll, procurement, finance, legal services and many more. More than 600 employees provide these essential services to the CU community.
