English Heritage Guardians
English Heritage Guardians are a group of like-minded supporters who share our belief that heritage should be for everybody.  With your help, heritage sites across England will remain open, accessible and inspiring to millions of visitors every year.
You’ll be supporting conservation, research, archaeological discoveries, stonemasonry, community events and education, along with so much more.
Become Part of the Story of England’s Heritage
England’s heritage is irreplaceable – and it needs people like you to protect it.
From castles to country houses and countless artefacts, our heritage is a treasure trove of architectural and artistic wonder.
By becoming a Guardian, you’ll bring new life to sites, unlock heritage learning and make heritage climate-resilent.
You'll also gain access to special events designed to take you behind the scenes. You’ll meet curators, historians and conservators to experience and better understand the work that your support makes possible.

How Your Support Helps
Your Places Appeal
Over 300 of our treasured sites are free to enter. But free to enter doesn't mean free to maintain. It costs over £4.2 million a year to care for these special places - and that's why we need your help.
A GIFT IN YOUR WILL
