About the Program The major emphasizes media literacy, critical thinking, and real-world communication practices, supported by faculty active in journalism, media history, and public advocacy. Hands-On Learning Students complete multimedia projects, contribute to arts and media events, and work with faculty on communication-focused initiatives. Entirely student-produced, Albright A.M. features concerts, fashion shows, musicians, theater, photography and more. Internships and Career Support Students can connect with the Career Development Center to find internships in public relations, media, marketing, corporate communications, nonprofits, and community organizations, gaining real-world experience in writing, messaging, audience analysis, and strategic communication. ACRE Undergraduate Research Students in any major can engage in interdisciplinary undergraduate research through the Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) , partnering with faculty mentors to pursue independent research or creative projects and present their work beyond the classroom.
