Ensuring plumbing products and systems are WaterMark certified protects community health and safety.
And for licensed plumbers, it’s your responsibility to ensure your installation work is in accordance with the National Construction Code.
Here you will find information on the WaterMark certification process relevant to manufacturers of plumbing and drainage products, plumbing practitioners and Approved Certifiers.
What is WaterMark?
The National Construction Code (NCC) requires any plumbing or drainage product of a type listed on the WaterMark Schedule of Products, to be WaterMark certified. It must be certified and installed by a licensed plumbing practitioner.
Installation and WaterMark Licensing
If a product listed on the WaterMark Schedule of Products, it must be WaterMark certified and installed by a licenced plumber.
Talking to your customers
It is important to encourage your customers to look for the WaterMark, along with the licence number and product specification. Find out more here.
