Our Next Historical Society Event
Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2pm -
Hall Company
The spirit of entrepreneurship is alive and well in Champaign County as we celebrate America’s 250th. Join us at the CCHS Museum on Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m. to discover the history of an Urbana manufacturing company launched by an aeronautical engineer in the basement of his house.
From there, Willian D. Hall Sr.’s company, The Hall Company, has gone on to design and make products used in the Gemini and Apollo space missions and in human-machine interface technology for a range of industries around the world.
Kyle Hall, the third-generation president of his family’s business, will share the story with us. The program is free and open to the public.
