Our School
Pima is an intensive Level D special education school designed for students with significant behavioral, emotional, and developmental support needs who struggle in traditional settings.
We empower students to discover their strengths, stay on track academically, and build the skills and confidence to graduate on time and transition successfully to post-secondary life. Through individualized education programs, alternative instructional models, evidence-based practices, and therapeutic support, we help students reengage with learning and prepare for their futures.
In December 2017, Scottsdale Unified School District broke ground on the Pima Elementary School rebuild.
The rebuild provided new and improved learning environments that elevate the educational experience for all scholars. The revitalized campus features state-of-the-art technology, modern facilities, and a beautiful landscape designed to inspire and enhance learning. The goal is to create a space where scholars thrive and reach their full potential. The new campus opened for the 2019-2020 school year.
Parents are encouraged to visit the schools and volunteer.
