On April 13, the New Product Launch Event of the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) concluded successfully in Hainan. Changchun organized a delegation of five high-quality enterprises—CHIMAX (Jilin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Jilin Hefaxin Health Technology Co., Ltd., GenSci, Guangyu Technology Co., Ltd., and Jilin Zhonglu Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry (Group)—to unveil a range of flagship new products. Centering on three core sectors—biopharmaceuticals, health and wellness, and intelligent technology—the showcase fully demonstrated Changchun's industrial innovation achievements and the distinctive appeal of premium products from Northern China.
This year's launch event served as an important platform for Changchun's high-quality enterprises to expand into domestic and international markets and demonstrate new progress in industrial development. Participating enterprises, each deeply rooted in its respective fields, introduced a variety of innovative products spanning cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals, distinctive health and wellness products, and intelligent technology applications. This showcase not only reflected Changchun's scientific breakthroughs in life health but also demonstrated the vitality of its emerging technology industries. As a result, it drew greater attention from business partners and buyers, while offering deeper insight into the city's premium products and industrial strength.
As one of China's first biopharmaceutical industry bases, Changchun has identified biopharmaceuticals and life health as one of its principal strategic growth sectors. The city has assembled top-tier research and academic resources—such as Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Jilin University, and Changchun University of Chinese Medicine—fostering a sound innovation chain that spans "R&D, commercialization, production, and application". By doing so, Changchun now stands at the forefront of such fields as cell therapy, biopharmaceuticals, and the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.
Moreover, Changchun is vigorously cultivating new quality productive forces in sectors such as optoelectronic information and artificial intelligence. By fostering deep integration among government, industry, academia, and research institutions, the city is stepping up the commercialization of cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, thereby empowering industrial upgrading and boosting consumption. Leveraging the international platform of the CICPE, Changchun will further empower local enterprises to expand market access and build up brand recognition. With its solid industrial foundation and strong innovation momentum, the city is poised to inject sustained impetus into the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China.
