WHAT TRAINING AND SUPPORT DO VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE?
We provide full induction, training and supervision for all our volunteers, tailored to each volunteer role. This can include:
How to engage our visitors
Delivering your workshop or activity
Handling museum objects safely
Meeting your team and staff members
Safeguarding training
Volunteers have access to museum social events, a dedicated volunteers’ break room and travel expenses reimbursed (conditions apply).

HOW DO I BECOME A SCIENCE MUSEUM VOLUNTEER?
Our Volunteering programme is open to anyone aged 18 and over—all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in. A science or museum background is by no means essential.
