Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBKWU) has signed (MoU) with Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS). The event marks an important step toward strengthening academic collaboration, research development, and institutional partnerships between the two esteemed universities.
Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor, Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBKWU), Quetta, led a delegation to attend a technical workshop titled "Designing Resilience at Scale: Basic Planning, Flood Modeling, Infrastructure Feasibility and Planning Resilient Community Strategies in Balochistan."
SBKWU Signs MoU with START IT UP Pakistan to Boost Women Entrepreneurship in Balochistan
Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani, Honorable Minister for Education, graced the university with her presence. She was received by Prof. Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor and the management of SBKWU. She planted a tree as a symbol of growth, sustainability, and a greener future for our institution.

SBKWU & Balochistan Agriculture College Sign MoU Quetta January 30, 2026. The MoU was signed by Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor SBKWU, and Prof. Abdul Razzaq Reki, Principal BAC, in the presence of Dr. Raheela Manzoor, Registrar SBKWU, and Mr. Ali Gul Sarparrah, Deputy Registrar.
Farah Yousaf is a FIFA MA–trained football referee from Nushki, Balochistan, serving as Referee, Assistant Referee, 4th Official, and PFF Referee Assessor. She is the only referee from Pakistan selected by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) for South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) 2026, marking a historic achievement for women’s football officiating in the country.
The Teachers’ Annual Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm SBK Model School The event was organized to honor the dedication, commitment, and service of all staff members.
The Orientation Session of the Women Empowerment Mentoring Program (WEMP) was held at SBK Women’s University, Quetta, on December 15, 2025, under the chairpersonship of Prof. Dr. Shumaila Mazhar.
The Department of Chemistry organized a research seminar featuring the work of a PhD scholar (Ms Huma Tareen) in the Video Conferencing Room on 16-12-25. The seminar was attended by the Vice Chancellor (VC), the Registrar, and the Dean of Basic Sciences, along with faculty members from Basic Sciences and Life Sciences. M.Phil and PhD students also participated in the session.
The Institutional Scholarship Awarding Committee convened on 10.12.2025 under the chairpersonship of Dr. Raheela Manzoor, Registrar, to review applications and recommend deserving students for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2025–2026.
Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBKWU), Quetta with the collaboration of Balochistan Women Promote Talent successfully organized an impressive and well-attended ceremony on 8 December 2025 to honor outstanding faculty members through the Best Teacher Award 2025 and the Best Researcher Award.The ceremony was held at the SBKWU Rabia Basri Hall (Multipurpose Hall) and was graced by honorable Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Governor Balochistan / Chancellor PSUs, as the Chief Guest (08/12/2025)

The Graduate Admission Test (GAT-General) for M.Phil./MS and Ph.D. applicants who could not appear on 10 March 2026 will be conducted as per the following schedule:
