Vernon Baker’s bold assault against German defenses in World War II led his unit to victory. A devoted husband, father, and volunteer, his extraordinary valor was finally honored over 50 years later.
Featured Recipient: John Chapman
John Chapman was the first airman to receive the Medal of Honor since the Vietnam War and the first Recipient to have an act of valor and sacrifice fully documented through drone footage.
