Lake Ridge Academy Transportation!
The Lake Ridge Academy Transportation Department prides itself on offering economical, efficient, and safe transportation for students to and from school. Students travel from over 35 communities to attend our school, and we offer various transportation options to meet the needs of all our families.
There is an additional fee to utilize Lake Ridge Academy busing. For more information about the cost and how to sign up for busing,
please click here

. Seats are limited, so don’t wait! We ask that all requests be submitted by July 15th so we can send bus route information to parents by the first week of August.
Public School District Busing
The following public school districts provide transportation to and from our school. Please note that these districts do NOT transport grades 9-12. If you live in one of these districts and would like to utilize their busing,
please contact their transportation department directly for more information

LRA Bus Routes
Lake Ridge Academy also has its own private bus routes. The routes can and do change frequently depending on need. Current stops include:
Strongsville, Berea, and North Olmsted
Stops may include Pathways Church, located on Drake and Prospect in Strongsville; Subway, situated on Prospect and Albion in Strongsville; Marc’s parking lot in Berea; and designated stops on Lorain Road, ranging from Columbia Road to Barton Road in North Olmsted, determined by the students' locations.
East of Lake Ridge Academy towards Cleveland
This bus travels along Interstate 90, so potential stops are located near the freeway. Potential stops can be from West Boulevard in Cleveland to Lakewood, Rocky River, Bay Village, Westlake, and Avon Lake.
Oberlin, Elyria, and southwest North Ridgeville
Stops: the IGA Foodliner on Lorain Road in Oberlin; other stops to be determined between Chestnut and Broad Street on South Abbe in Elyria, and as needed in North Ridgeville.
Vermilion, Amherst, Lorain, northern Elyria, Sheffield, and North Ridgeville.
These stops are all within proximity to Rt 2, with stops at Bettcher Industries, Oak Point Lowes, Middle Ridge McDonald's, Elyria Lowes, and Sheffield Giant Eagle.
Bus to Avon and North Ridgeville
This bus travels to Avon and North Ridgeville.

We are moving to a different city during the school year. Can my child get a new bus stop?
All students that move during the school year will be assigned a new bus stop. This stop may not be at your new place of residence, but will be at the closest group stop.
Are students picked up at their home?
Most students will have group stops. Our routes cover many different cities and must be designed to fit within certain time limits.
When will I receive my student(s) bus stop information?
We will email parents the students' bus information a week or so before the first day of school. Please remember that your students' stop may be at home
or
a group stop.
Can my child’s friend ride the bus home with them?
Yes, but
both
parents must fill out the Student Guest Rider form and email it to the Transportation Director by
noon
on the day your child is requesting to ride the bus with a friend. We MUST have this information per State code. If the Transportation Department does not receive this information by
noon
on that day, we will be unable to accommodate the request.
