Online Undergraduate Louisiana Baptist University’s Online Undergraduate Programs include Certificates; an associate degree in Biblical Studies; and bachelor’s degrees in Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, Communication, and Education. These degrees are offered in both English and Spanish. Courses can be taken by Independent Study or as E-Campus Live Online Courses. Independent Study Courses are made available online to be completed at the student’s convenience. Academic advisors guide each student through the course. These courses can begin and end at any time. E-Campus Live Online Courses taught either on our campus or remotely on Microsoft Teams. These courses require weekly online attendance at a set time. We offer these courses during the traditional fall, spring, and summer semesters. Enroll Now On-Campus Undergraduate Traditional classroom courses attended by Shreveport area students. We offer these courses during the traditional fall, spring, and summer semesters. LBU also offers in-person seminars. Traditional classroom courses are conducted in one week on our Shreveport campus. Students complete assignments before the seminar and after the seminar. The one-week format allows students anywhere in the world to join us for traditional on-campus education. Enroll Now Master’s & Doctoral The master’s degree provides specialized education at a higher level than the traditional college curriculum. Like all our programs, you can complete the master’s degree at your own pace from anywhere in the world.   We offer master’s degrees in counseling, communication, and education. We also offer the master’s degree delivered entirely in Español. The Seminary offers four master’s degrees that specialize in Bible, theology, or ministry. The doctoral degree provides the highest level of specialized education. Some doctoral degrees emphasize ministry and practice while others emphasize academics and research. All our doctoral programs can be completed at your own pace from anywhere in the world.   We offer the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in counseling, leadership, and education. We also offer the doctoral degree delivered entirely in Español. The Seminary offers the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Apply Now Close Dr. Mark Conn Vice-President Mark Conn is the Vice President of LBU and divides his time between Shreveport and the picturesque Ozark Mountains of southwest Missouri. With a career spanning over three decades in higher education, Mark has helped shape the minds and hearts of countless ministry students. His teaching portfolio encompasses a range of subjects, including Bible studies, Biblical Prophecy, Christian Ministry, Cultural Engagement, and Pastoral Studies. One of his foremost passions lies in guiding students to wrestle with the authentic message of the Bible, steering them away from interpretations based in cultural tradition. Mark is a sought-after contributor to various international publications, as well as radio programs and podcasts. His insights span an array of topics, from biblical prophecy to the intricate interplay between faith and culture, and even the enigmatic supernatural aspects within the pages of the Bible. In addition to his work in education, he has dedicated a significant portion of his career to church revitalization. Over the years he has worked with churches of various sizes and cultural settings to help them overcome challenges and reinvigorate their congregations. As a consultant in church revitalization, he has helped churches identify their strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies for growth, and implement effective outreach programs. He believes God’s desire is for every church to thrive, and he is committed to helping them fulfill the Great Commission.
