Student Affairs is committed to the academic and personal success of all students including those who are pregnant and parenting. We have various support services and programs designed to help parenting students succeed and thrive at Stanislaus State.

Food and Basic Needs
Assistance is available to connect you with nutritious food, meals and sustenance.
Basic Needs
Provides support services ranging from emergency crisis support, housing insecurity and food assistance to enrolled students.
CalFresh
Care Coordinators are available to assist you in applying to the CalFresh food benefit program.
CalWORKS
Helps eligible low-income families cover basic expenses such as housing, food and utilities through monthly cash aid.
Food Distribution
Supplemental food boxes are available twice a month. View upcoming food distribution dates.
Warrior Food Pantry
Provides free essentials including food and toiletries to enrolled students.
Financial Resources
Emergency grants and additional assistance is available to assist students experiencing difficult times.

Cost of Attendance Adjustment
Enables students to request a Cost of Attendance adjustment that may qualify them for more grants, loans, work-study, or scholarships. To request an adjustment, reach out to the financial aid office,

Provides financial support and early learning services to help families access child care for children from birth to age 12.

California Chafee Grant for Foster Youth
Provides up to $5,000 annually to support current and former foster youth in covering college and living expenses.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8)

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
