Register for Classes
Organize
Plan your course schedule using the online
Schedule of Classes Planner
feature. Be sure to select course sections that are open and that have no time conflicts.

, a degree planning and audit tool is available on
Gibson Online
to help you select courses that apply to your major.
Plan
Register for both regular and summer session courses using
Gibson Online
. To log in, use your Tulane e-mail username and password. If you are not able to log in please contact the Help Desk at (504) 862-8888.
Search
When you click on the above link to the Schedule of classes, you must check three things first:
In the upper right-hand corner, make sure the correct semester is showing, such as
Fall 2026
On the left side of the page, in the section titled
Subject Area
click once on the subject in which you are interested, such as
Information Technology
On the lower right section of the page, click on
School of Professional Advancement
Once you have checked those three items, all available classes offered in the subject area you selected will appear in a list.
Add Classes
When you find a class in which you wish to register, look at the section titled
Available Seats
. If it shows a
0
that means the class is full and you cannot register for it. A waitlist may be available.
If the class has available seats, click
ADD
in the upper right section. This will add the course to your course planner. To then register for the class, click
CONTINUE
on your planner (which appears on the right side of the page). Then click
SUBMIT REGISTRATION
.
