Future residents who are under the age of 18 at the time of signing a 2026-2027 Academic Year housing contract will need a parent or guardian to successfully secure their 2026-2027 Academic Year housing.
If you need housing accommodations for a disability or medical condition, please reach out to your institution’s Disability Resource Center to begin the accommodations process. Setting up your accommodations in advance helps us set you up for success!

Monday, January 5th, 2026 - The Monday after New Years
Contracting Process Opens
: At 12:00PM Mountain Standard Time, the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year Housing Contracting Process will be available for all students.
Saturday, February 14th, 2026 - Valentine's Day
Last Day of the Returning Student Priority Period
: the

will end at 11:59PM Mountain Standard Time on Valentine's Day.
Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 - The Last Day of March
Last Day of the First Year Priority Period:
At 11:59PM Mountain Standard Time on the last day of March, the
First Year Priority Period
will end.
Monday, April 6th, 2026 - The Second Week of April
Room Assignments:
Beginning in the second week of April, Housing will start releasing room assignments in the Housing Portal for First Year students who opted out of Roommate Matching, and Non-Priority Returning Students.
Thursday April 16th, 2026 - The Third Thursday of April
The Lynx Learning Community (LLC) Room Selector Closes
: LLC
Priority
Students will have access to the Lynx Learning Community Room Selector until 11:59PM on Thursday April 16th, 2026.
Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 - The Last Day of June
Roommate Matching Closes
: The last day of June is also the last day for Roommate Matching! June 30th is the last day for students to utilize the roommate matching feature and the last day to finalize their groups.
Please note that Roommate Matching is a feature exclusively for First Year & Transfer Students.
To secure your 2026 - 2027 Academic Year housing, you must complete and sign a 2026 - 2027 Academic Year Housing
Contract.
This contract is legally binding, and as such, we recommend students are 100% confident in the following areas prior to signing a 2026 - 2027 Academic Year Housing Contract:

100% confident
you will attend an Auraria Campus Institution and be enrolled in 6 credit hours or more for both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
Be
100% confident
in your plan to pay for tuition and fees and housing & dining for the full 2026 - 2027 Academic Year. Your financial wellness is important! Not feeling 100%? Reach out to your institution's Financial Aid Office.
Be
100% confident
that you will live on campus for the full 2026 - 2027 Academic Year, meaning both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
Be
100% confident
you fully understand the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year contract
before
signing it. We want you to fully understand what you're signing, so read it carefully! If you're under 18, read it carefully
with

2026–2027 Academic Year Priority Deadlines
To qualify for Priority Status as a Returning Student you must:
Have signed and completed your 2026 -2027 Academic Year housing contract
before
11:59PM MST on Valentine's Day - Saturday, February 14th, 2026.

he Lynx Loyalty offer will expire on February 15, 2026.

, Returning Students get to hand select their floor plan and room if they sign and complete their 2026 - 2027 Academic Year contract before 11:59PM on Saturday, February 14th, 2026.

, Returning Students get to secure their parking for the 2026-2027 Academic Year as part of the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year Contracting Process.
Remember Returning Students, this is all subject to availability, and everything is first-come, first-served. Even though the Returning Student Priority Deadline has passed, if you haven't signed your 2026-2027 Academic Year Housing contract, it's not too late to secure your housing for the 2026-2027 Academic Year!

CU Denver First Year Students and eligible CU Denver Transfer students who apply for a Lynx Learning Community and are accepted into a Lynx Learning Community get access to the Lynx Learning Community Room Selector to pick which of the available rooms in their Lynx Learning Community they would like to live in for the 2026-2027 Academic Year!
First in line for high demand floor plans such as first year eligible floor plans at Lynx Crossing
(Subject to Availability & Eligibility).
Early Access to the Opt-In Roommate Matching program, providing more time for you to find your ideal roommate!
