Please refer to the directive by the Vice Chancellor dated 31st March 2026, that Examinations scheduled to hold on Wednesday 1st, and Thursday 2nd April, 2026 are postponed to a later date, and other examinations to continue after the Easter holidays. University Management, at its meeting of Friday 3rd April, 2026, considered the effects of the heightened tensions and threat to the lives and safety of students during the week, which led to Management allowing students to travel home for the elongated Easter holidays, and directed as follows:
1. All examinations are to continue from Monday 13th April, 2026 , beginning with the ones that were postponed from the 30th March 2026. For further clarification on this, students are advised to contact the Faculty Examinations Time Table officer.
2. Students who are on Campus are assured of their safety, as security has been beefed up. They are advised to maintain vigilance, extra caution in their movements and REPORT IMMEDIATELY any sign or shadow of breach of the public peace to the University Security Division on this number 08035895323
3. Normal activities in the University community continue as from Tuesday 7th April 2026.
4. Management is assuring the University of its active collaboration with the relevant Security agencies to ensure that no breach of the peace is tolerated.
5. Further relevant updates will be communicated as Management directs.
In fragile times like these, may our confidence in the LORD be steadfast. Thank you.
