We are pleased to introduce a new “add on” experience which gives visitors access to the Tower’s Lantern.
Visitors to the Tower are usually only able to climb up as high as the Belvedere look-out point, but this extra 45-minute tour for just £5 per person enables a limited number of visitors to climb right up inside the golden lantern!
This ticket does not grant you access to Beckford’s Tower. You must purchase admission tickets to Beckford’s Tower to validate your Lantern tour ticket(s).
Due to the smaller nature of the Lantern space, this tour is only for a maximum of 6 people and unfortunately is not suitable for children under 8 years of age. The Lantern is at the top of Beckford’s Tower with 154 steps to the start of the Lantern tour and over 50 steps within the Lantern. Please wear sensible footwear. Please be aware the Lantern space is quite small and tours may be cancelled due to high winds.
