The
Women Council
at Maharishi Arvind University is a dedicated platform committed to empowering, supporting and promoting the holistic development of women within the university community. It serves as a guiding force to ensure gender equity, create opportunities for leadership and foster a safe, inclusive and enabling environment for female students, faculty and staff.
The council’s primary objective is to
champion women’s rights, amplify voices and address issues related to gender equality.
It actively works to create awareness, organize initiatives and provide resources that promote education, professional growth and personal development. By doing so, the Women Council ensures that every woman in the university can pursue her goals confidently and thrive in all spheres of academic and professional life.
Empowerment through engagement
is a central focus of the Women Council. The council organizes workshops, seminars and training sessions on leadership development, career advancement, health and wellness, safety and self-defense.
