While cars pass by, inside it’s a peaceful neighborhood green space enjoyed by many. Cemetery Douglass Cemetery Amidst wide swaths of lawn, a grove of Douglas firs offers a woodland feel and a beautiful place for reflection. At 9.1 acres of lawn and forest, Douglass is one of Metro’s larger cemeteries. Cemetery Jones Cemetery Hidden in Portland’s Sylvan neighborhood, this 3.5-acre green jewel perches high on a south-facing hill, with open lawns and views across the Tualatin Valley to the Chehalem Mountains. Cemetery Lone Fir Cemetery Nestled in Southeast Portland, Lone Fir Cemetery is more than just a cemetery. It’s also one of Oregon’s most treasured historic places and Portland’s second-largest arboretum. Cemetery Mountain View Corbett Cemetery With stunning views of Mount Hood and the Washington Cascades, this rural two-acre cemetery occupies a small grassy rise surrounded by vegetable farms, vineyards and orchards in Corbett. Cemetery Pleasant Home Cemetery Located at Bluff and Pleasant Home roads in Gresham, burial plots are on the north end of the cemetery; the south end slopes to beautiful forest along Johnson Creek.
