Volunteer Opportunities
Our volunteers are adults, college students and teens with diverse backgrounds and skills and a desire to help others.
Getting Started
As a volunteer, you will serve as an ambassadors for our hospital in the community, so we set a high standard of excellence.
Volunteers are assigned to approximately 50 departments at UF Health Jacksonville based on availability, interests, skills and abilities. Patient contact is available for those who prefer it, or you may choose to work behind the scenes. Perhaps you would like to work in our gift shop or as a patient escort. Whatever your interests or special skills are, we have exciting and challenging opportunities for you.

Helping others offers its own personal rewards, yet there are other benefits available to our adult, intern and teen volunteers, including:
Free meal during each four-hour shift
Ten percent discount on gift items at our gift shops

Volunteer Services is located near the main entrance of the UF Health Jacksonville Clinical Center to the right of the lobby information desk and admissions.
