What is The Common Room?
A historic home to the north easts engineering heritage, and a vibrant venue for events, culture and community. Home to the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers since 1872.
Located in the restored Neville Hall in Newcastle, The Common Room preserves the regions industrial legacy while hosting conferences, weddings, gigs and public events.
