Send and Ripley Museum
Our wonderful little museum is part of the Send and Ripley History Society. It was once a Nat West bank and you can see it on the move on our website ‘The Bank Job’. We have new exhibitions every three months and are open from 10-12.30 every Saturday, and on Sundays to coincide with the antiques fair. Our exhibitions are very varied but have a local bias – recently we have featured Ada Lovelace and her family and also showcased the truly remarkable Gordon Stewart and his Great Danes.
Opening Times

Children & Families
The museum has a `unique’ bomb shelter which children (and adults!) can sit in. We have occasional childrens’ activities and hope to develop more once we have refurbished the interior of the museum.
Schools & Teachers
We offer a number of loan boxes and outreach programmes – details of which are on our website. Our pre-history session has been well received and the mammoth tooth is always a hit.
Students & Young People
By arrangement. We are able to help with the Duke of Edinburgh award.
Adult & Community
We enjoy welcoming adult groups, usually with a mix of a visit to the museum and a guided walk round the village
