Dare to dream, explore new things, and create art!
Creative spaces allow our students explore new things, master techniques, develop ideas and create art in a safe and nurturing environment, regardless of skill or experience.
The Arts at Stevenson and Beyond!
We encourage our students in the visual arts to enter their work in opportunities such as the Scholastics Art & Writing Awards, US Congressional Art competition, and in renowned locally based galleries such as the historic Carmel Art Association, Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, and Weston Photography Collective. Students in Making Movies class aim their short narrative and documentary films toward film festivals and on-campus Saturday night screenings where we make our own fresh popcorn.

Beyond the Classroom
Beyond the classroom Stevenson offers co-curricular afternoon experiences with options for one or more trimesters: Theater and Theater Tech (Three major productions/year, open to all); Dance (hiphop, ballet, jazz, and modern) I open to all, and Dance Team competes regionally; Choir, Chorus, Symphonic Band, Orchestra all participate in county, state and nationwide performance competitions. Our students can perform for their peers and beyond in seasonal performances and community outings.
The Stevenson Coffee House
Perhaps the single best thing we do at Stevenson! Coffee House is a monthly, student-organized event where students perform solo or in groups an original or popular song, a poem, stand up comedy and more. First time performers are encouraged to dare to be brave, and the intimate audience setting provides great support.
On Air
Stevenson has our very own FM radio station, KSPB 91.9 FM, right in the center of campus. In this program students can train in Radio and Broadcast Media to gain the opportunity to host and DJ your own FM radio show on the biggest student radio station west of the Mississippi!
