Explore Involvement and Recreation
With our inclusive environment and active student body, it’s no wonder the Princeton Review calls our campus a "vibrant, social atmosphere." You will have hundreds of opportunities to get involved, meet people, and contribute to the Miami University community.
Fraternity and Sorority Life
About a third of Miami students join a fraternity or sorority. With 52 Greek organizations across four councils, there are plenty of opportunities to find the chapter best suited for you. Our formal recruitment process occurs in the spring semester, to allow you time to get settled as a student first before joining a fraternity or sorority. Discover how we can help support your experience.
Clubs and Organizations
Miami has more than 600 student clubs and organizations, including service organizations, fraternities and sororities, academic and career-focused groups, and special-interest clubs. Discover which student organization may be a good fit by attending Mega Fair to find your place at Miami!
Community Standards and Safety
The Office of Community Standards strives to resolve cases in a fair, equitable, and educational manner while promoting both the holistic development of each student and the safety of the Miami community.
This is our Story. Make it Yours.
