Welcome from the Head
Alleyn’s School
Welcome to Alleyn's Oakfield
Alleyn's Oakfield became part of Alleyn's School from September 2025. Whether your child starts their Alleyn's junior school journey at Alleyn's Junior School or Alleyn's Oakfield they will experience the same commitment to excellence, care and opportunity, with the added confidence of an assured place at Alleyn’s Senior School.
Head's Welcome
It is a great privilege to be joining this school at such an exciting and important moment in its journey. Alleyn’s Oakfield is a place with a strong sense of identity, a deep commitment to childhood and learning, and a wonderfully warm community at its heart. I feel both grateful and energised to be leading the school as we continue to grow and evolve together.
Alison Wright
Interim Head, Alleyn's Oakfield
Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do. They are curious, thoughtful, confident and kind, and it is a joy to spend time listening to them, learning what matters to them, and seeing the school through their eyes. Alongside them, our dedicated and talented staff provide the consistency, care and high expectations that allow children to feel secure, supported and inspired every day.
As part of Alleyn’s School, Alleyn’s Oakfield benefits from a shared vision for ambitious, holistic education while retaining the character, warmth and individuality that make this school unique. We are proud of our heritage and equally excited about the opportunities ahead; opportunities to strengthen learning, deepen relationships, and ensure that every child is known, valued and encouraged to be
All They Can Be.
Change and growth bring new possibilities, and we approach this with confidence, optimism and a strong sense of continuity. Familiar routines, trusted relationships and the values that define our school remain firmly at the heart of our offering.
Whether you are already part of the Alleyn’s Oakfield community or discovering us for the first time, I look forward to getting to know you and working with our brilliant staff to create the greatest of learning environments for your children. Together, we will continue to nurture a school where children are happy, challenged and excited to learn in a place where they can truly thrive.
Another Place to Grow
Learning here is rooted in curiosity and creativity, both in and beyond the classroom. Whether it’s through music, sport, drama or outdoor learning, children are given the space and support to discover their passions and develop their voice.
Explore our curriculum
Alleyn’s Oakfield is a place alive with energy, warmth and ambition. Every day, our pupils are encouraged to explore new ideas, take meaningful risks, and build lasting relationships within a nurturing environment.
Find Your Thing
We believe a great education goes beyond the classroom. At Alleyn’s Oakfield, pupils can explore their passions through a rich programme of trips, themed days, visiting speakers and over 50 clubs. Whether discovering a love of music, drama or sport, every child is encouraged to find their thing.

A Proud Heritage, A Modern Future
We want our spaces to make children feel energised, engaged, and supported throughout the school day.
For more than 140 years, Oakfield has educated generations of young learners. Today, as part of the Alleyn’s family, we are carefully modernising our classrooms to support contemporary learning, while respecting the character and architecture of our historic setting.
We look forward to showing you and your family around.
