Joining Our Sisterhood: Apply Now Parents' Guide to the OLP Application Admission Dates Learning Support Programs Affording OLP Scholarships Campus Tour Pilot Summer Academy Club Pilot International Admissions Your Step-by-Step Guide to Applying to OLP At OLP, every girl’s journey begins with a single step — and we’re here to walk alongside your family through each one. This section is designed to provide you with a clear, step-by-step guide to our application process, ensuring that nothing feels overwhelming or confusing. While our admissions portal provides families with an official checklist, we know this process is brand new for many parents, and it’s natural to want reassurance that you’re on track. Think of this page as your companion: a place where you can see the bigger picture of what’s required, along with optional opportunities for your daughter to shine even brighter. Above all, remember that applying to OLP isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s the start of her journey into a community where she is deeply known and fully supported, uplifted by a sisterhood rooted in unifying love. Each step is part of the path toward a place where resilience takes root, curiosity is encouraged, and courage blossoms. Required Steps 1. Submit the Application Form Create a Finalsite account and complete your daughter’s online application—this officially begins her OLP journey. 2. Pay the Application Fee ($80) The fee confirms and processes her application. 3. Upload a Recent Photo A simple snapshot helps us put a face to the name and welcome her into our community. 4. Schedule Your Family Interview Choose an available date and time for your interview. If none work, please email [email protected] so that we can find a time together. 5. Principal Recommendation Form Your daughter’s principal will collaborate with her math and English teachers to complete one form that gives us a well-rounded picture of her academic strengths and personal qualities. Families send the request directly to the principal. 6. Upload Standardized Test Results Provide her most recent standardized test scores (STAR, CAASPP, or equivalent). If unavailable, please upload a note from her school. 7. Upload Transcripts or Report Cards Submit academic records for all of 7th grade and at least the first grading period of 8th grade. Official or unofficial copies are both acceptable. 8. Register your daughter for the OLP Course Placement Diagnostic Test (CPDT) Choose from one of two test dates: Saturday, December 6, or Saturday, January 10. The CPDT is not an entrance exam—it’s a placement tool designed to celebrate your daughter’s strengths and ensure she begins high school in the courses where she’ll thrive. Covering English, math, science, and world language, the CPDT helps us meet her where she is so she can soar with confidence from day one. Important Note on Deadlines All required steps of the application must be completed by your daughter’s chosen deadline—December 1 for Early Applicants or January 5 for Regular Applicants. The only exception is the Course Placement Diagnostic Test (CPDT). Your daughter may take the CPDT on either December 6 or January 10, regardless of when she submits her application. While Early Applicants are encouraged to take the December 6 date and Regular Applicants the January 10 date, we understand families may need flexibility and will happily honor whichever session works best for your schedule. Please note: Only applicants who submit by the December 1 Early Application Deadline will receive their admission decision by December 10—and be invited to our Early Acceptance VIP Party on December 11, where each newly accepted Pilot will also receive her free OLP Class of 2030 sweatshirt! Application Enhancements: Optional but Encouraged Scholars’ Day Friday, January 16 | 8:30–11:30 a.m. A chance for your daughter to showcase her enthusiasm for learning while competing for merit-based scholarships. Participation itself is a distinction! Pilot for a Day (Shadow Day) Recommended for 7th and 8th graders, this signature program lets your daughter spend a day paired with a current OLP student — attending classes, meeting teachers, and feeling the energy of our sisterhood. Video Essay In 90 seconds or less, she can record her response to the question: “What part of your spirit or what gift shines brightest when you’re at your best?” A wonderful way to let her voice shine. Letter of Recommendation (LOR) Optional, but welcome. Ideally, from someone who knows her well — whether in the classroom, athletics, service, or enrichment. What we value most is hearing about her character, resilience, effort, and the ways she uplifts others. Learning Support Documentation (If Applicable) If your daughter has an IEP, 504 Plan, or other documentation of learning needs, please upload it. This helps us partner with you from the start to ensure she is fully supported and ready to thrive at OLP.
