This was within the Ta’ziz Partnership Programme supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
This was a great chance for me to increase my research skills and to use many techniques in my experiments.
Besides the chance to use advanced laboratory devices and tools. I attended many events at Freie Universität Berlin such as the Day of Pharmacy and the Graduation ceremony of Class 2024. Also, this opportunity allowed me to explore a different country and culture. Besides many historic places that I explored in Berlin.
So, thanks DAAD, Freie Universität Berlin, Prof Burkhard Kleuser and his team. Also, I would like to thank my university Pharos University in Alexandria for allowing me to have this opportunity.

I am Dr. Valandis Bardzokas, I am a linguist and I work at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of English Language and Literature.
I feel blessed that, in the frame of the ERASMUS staff mobility programme, I had the opportunity to teach linguistics at the department of linguistics engineering, faculty of languages and translation, PUA, in November 2024. As a linguist and a person, I was struck by two things, both equally impressive: a) the pervasive teamwork atmosphere in the faculty, inspiring collaboration, friendship and their academic excellence; b) the high level of genius of the students and their dedication to the cause of professional development.
My experience in PUA was brief but I want to think it made a contribution to strengthening the academic bonds between two prestigious universities, in two cities that have come a long way in the history of knowledge.
