Overview
Welcome to the Research, Innovation and Consultancy Unit (RICU) which is the research support arm of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development. Our mission is to provide support to researchers and safeguard the conduct of research and other sponsored activities for the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD).
We have the responsibility of facilitating and leading the establishment of a robust and vibrant Research, Innovation and Consultancy office for the university. The unit envisages to transform into a directorate in the next 5 years with specialized units.
RICU is progressively building strong research support structures and networks in the bid to achieve its mandate. Research management services at RICU are presently delivered through two teams (Grant Administration and Research Development Unit & Research Ethics and Integrity Unit). This will be progressively be increased to five units to provide streamlined and uniform support to the University community. The teams are:
