R code for fitting Random Periods Model - Software Usage Agreement and Download
Developed by:
Shyamal D. Peddada
National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences
Biostatistics & Computational Biology Branch
Programmed by Mr. Sai Cheemalapati, Summer Intern 2011, Panther Creek High School
Purpose
You may use this R code for fitting the Random Periods Model (RPM) for cell cycle genes. Since outliers and influential observations are not uncommon, the parameters of RPM are estimated using the L_1 norm. The RPM is a nonlinear model that can be used to model the expression of a cell-cycle gene over time. For details regarding the model one may refer to Liu et al. (2004).
Software info
Details on how to use is provided in the
How to Use R code for Fitting Random Periods Model
webpage.
