About The Conference
About The Conference
In the age of Antropocene, human’s activities and decisions have become dominant and
powerfull in shaping ecosystem. Asia, with its large population and rapid economic growth,
stands at the forefront of this transformation and has become a dominant force that is
transforming the Earth's ecosystems significantly. And as the most populated and highest
economic growth continent, Asia is now become the center of attention in this context. Many
challenges posed by the current Anthropocene epoch require fundamental transformations to
humanity's relationships with the rest of the planet.

Sub Theme
To offer focus on the discussions, this conference will be divided into several sub-themes
that reflect the involvement and interests of conference participants in important
contemporary issues. The conference activities will be organized into selected panels, and
participants are encouraged to contribute their thoughts within these sub-themes

conducted both online and offline, 3 minutes Thesis Competition, Poster exhibition,

CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS PROVISIONS
The conference activities are open to academics, researchers, policymakers, activists,
lecturers, and students who have an interest in the above-mentioned sub-themes. Participants
are also welcome to present new ideas that are not covered by the sub-themes and form their
own panels with their colleagues by proposing them to the panel committee. Each participant
can form a panel with a minimum of 4 panelists and a maximum of 5 panelists, who will
discuss the theme proposed in the panel proposal. We also offer limited opportunities for
general participants to attend the conference, excluding presenters. We will also organize a
poster exhibition showcasing the best works from the top graduates of FISIP UNas.
Participants consist of Bachelor's degree graduates only
The requirements for participants to engage in this conference are as follows:
Participants can be individuals, groups, or institutions.
Participants must submit an abstract with a chosen panel sub-theme, with a maximum of
100-150 words, which should include research questions, methodology, and main ideas.
The abstract should be accompanied by a brief profile, institution, and participant's
email address.
If the participant proposes the formation of a panel, the panel abstract should also be
accompanied by abstracts from each participant who will join the panel.
The committee will announce the selection results through the conference website and
participants' emails. Selected participants must submit their presentation materials and
Extended Abstract.
The abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and the journal published
by FISIP Universitas Nasional, and are directed to be submitted to the Journal.
Conference participants will receive certificates according to their involvement.
