Seminary Academics
No Seriously, 50 years later they're still talking about it!
Prepared to Serve
Free Lutheran Seminary gives its graduates a foundational understanding of the Bible, theology, church history, Christian ethics, and practical skills for pastoral ministry. We strive for academic excellence, while being mindful about cultivating a deep personal devotional life in each student.
FLS continues in the tradition of its orthodox Lutheran pietism origins—emphasizing the trained mind, the disciplined life, and outreach to others through pastoral care, evangelism, and the preaching of the Word of God.
