The Keck Center is the home of our
Schmid College of Science and Technology
and
Fowler School of Engineering
. The Center’s opening signaled a tremendous step forward in the STEM fields at Chapman
University.
This facility helps power the convergence of science and technology on our campus.
It also ushers in a new era of our faculty and students collaborating – across programs
and disciplines – to solve global challenges.

In the Swenson Family Hall of Engineering, students and faculty can access facilities,
equipment, and technology within classrooms, labs, and a Makerspace to help build
the future.

After training on certain equipment, students can reserve times to use each tool.

The GCI is a unique two-year project that is part of the curriculum for all incoming
first-year students in Schmid College and the Fowler School of Engineering.

Center!
Tours are 45-minutes long and led by current students on our campus in Orange, CA
(virtual tours are also available). You'll tour both the science and engineering wings
of our building.
