Dr. Emily Barnes treats patients at Gritman’s Moscow Family Medicine Downtown Clinic.
Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Barnes completed medical school at the University of Chicago and came to Idaho as part of the Boise-based Family Medicine Residency of Idaho.
Medicine can be complicated, and Dr. Barnes wants her patients to know she is there to provide the clarity her patients need when seeking Family Medicine and Obstetric care. She treats all members of the family, from children with pediatric needs, to moms needing OB care, to older adults needing more complicated care.
“Medicine for me is a way to advocate for my patients and my community,” she said. “It engages me and gives me a sense of purpose that I really enjoy.”
