Transportation - Hillbrook School Transportation Hillbrook is committed to promoting eco-conscious and safe alternative transportation resources. Buses Carpooling Green Participation Days (Los Gatos only) CalTrain and Public Transportation We partner with a national, full-service bus provider to offer complimentary transportation as a convenient and safe way to shuttle students to and from Hillbrook's Los Gatos campus. We offer a network of Hillbrook bus routes that provides morning and afternoon/evening service in Los Gatos, San Jose (including the Rose Garden, Willow Glen, and Los Altos neighborhoods. Our bus routes are carefully planned to serve the greatest number of Hillbrook families living throughout the Silicon Valley. As a model for eco-conscious transportation options, Hillbrook encourages all families to ride-share whenever possible. Carpooling eases the burden of commuting, minimizes our impact on the environment, makes life more pleasant for our immediate neighbors, and helps to minimize our daily traffic. Nicholle Cabarloc, our Director of After School, Summer, and Transportation, is also available to support families in finding the transportation plan that fits your schedule and lifestyle - send her a message at transportation@hillbrook.org to learn more! In addition to our everyday practices, Green Participation Days will help us minimize traffic to our campus on key high-impact days. Our families, faculty, and staff are invited to join together and walk, bike, carpool, or shuttle to school on designated dates throughout the year. The San José Diridon station is located 1.1 miles away from our Upper School campus; Hillbrook buses or vans provide transportation to and from the station and the school. Safe Routes to School The Los Gatos chapter of Safe Routes To School encourages safe, alternative ways to get to school, including walking, biking, and rolling to campus. Throughout the year, we participate in fun and engaging Safe Routes To School events that boost awareness, community connection, physical wellbeing, and a ton of fun! Our Head of School, Mark Silver, is a member of the Safe Routes To School Board. Nicholle Gutierrez-Cabarloc Director of After School, Summer & Transportation Programs
