Discuss your degree process with you
Provide you with information and helpful resources
Maintain honesty and confidentiality
Listen without prejudice, offer suggestions, and discuss strategies

To get the most out of your advising experience, we ask that you do the following:
Make and keep appointments, reaching out ASAP if rescheduling or cancellation is needed
Prepare for advising appointments by researching your concerns and writing down questions
Explore options for your class schedule before meeting with your advisor
Read all emails and newsletters thoroughly to ensure you have the latest information
Keep track of important dates and deadlines
