The Swanson School of Engineering generated $63.5 million in research expenditures in FY25, produced 41 patents - 38 percent of the university's total - and has launched 63 startups. With 29 NSF CAREER Awards since 2016 and faculty represented in the National Academies of Engineering, Inventors, and Science, our research spans four areas of international expertise: energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and sustainability.
