From Beijing to Changchun: A Journey of Ice and Snow

was held in Beijing.
Gu Gang

Mayor and
the Deputy Secretary of the
Changchun
Municipal Party Committee

attended the event and delivered a speech, extending a sincere invitation to friends from all over the world: " We warmly welcome all visitors to experience Changchun in winter: enjoy ice and snow activities, relax in hot springs, immerse in local folk customs, breathe in the crisp fresh air amid pure whit snow, and feel both the bracing coldness of the mountains right at your doorstep and the heartwarming hospitality of its people
."
In recent years, Changchun has thoroughly implemented General Secretary
Xi Jinping
's important directive that "ice and snow are also
invaluable assets.
" The city has concentrated its efforts on fostering the ice-snow industry, developing ice-snow tourism projects, and expediting the transformation of "cold resources" into a "hot economy."
For this new snow season, Changchun will highlight the themes of "Every Season Holds Its Charm, Winter Snow Shines in Changchun" and "Learn
to Ski
in Changchun," coordinating efforts to
upgrade
products
, optimize services, and expand consumption, with the ambitious goal of attracting over 90 million tourists citywide.
At the event, a promotional video
