Tracking of Student Achievement
Consistent with its mission, the nature of the students it serves and the kinds of programs offered, AUD has established the following measures and goals to track student achievement:
GRADUATION RATE
AUD has selected the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) metric to track its Graduation Rate data, which is the percentage of undergraduate students who graduated within a time period equal to one and a half times (150%) the normal period of graduation. The normal graduation period for undergraduate programs at AUD is four years, except for the Bachelor of Architecture degree which is five years. The University set a goal of increasing the graduation rate from 58% to 66% within six to eight years after the baseline year of 2014. Table 1 lists AUD graduation rates for cohorts since Fall 2010.
