The Randall Museum wants YOU!
The Randall offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for teens and adults in the areas of animal docents, animal care, reception, administration and special events. Learn about specific volunteer opportunities for adults and teens below.
Whatever your skills or interests, and however much time you can give, the Randall Museum will truly appreciate your help!
Current volunteer opportunities:
Native Plant Volunteers
We are looking for individuals of all ages to support our Native Pollinator Garden Volunteer. Tasks will include watering, weeding, propagating and planting new plants. If you are interested in applying please reach out to our Facility Coordinator, Sara Brown at

Teen Animal Care Program
The Randall Museum offers the opportunity for youth to volunteer as assistants for our living animal exhibit: Wild in California, for a whole year.
Individuals ages 13-17 will be trained by animal care specialists and gain experience working with native wildlife. Duties will include daily animal husbandry tasks such as enclosure cleaning, diet preparation, animal enrichment activities, and interacting with the museum guests.
In order to be considered for this program, you must first complete the volunteer application.

Special Event Volunteers
The Randall Museum is looking for engaged, enthusiastic and flexible volunteers to help out at our special community events. Events such as Family Halloween, Holiday Crafts Day, Bug Day offer fun, interactive and educational activities for all ages. Admission is free with low-cost and no-cost activities.
Adults and teens 16 years and up are welcome. Be prepared to help with set-up, clean-up, games, crafts, some sales and more while helping our visitors have fun. A minimum of three hours of volunteer time is required. Our events involve physical activity, so if you are younger than 16 or have any disabilities you must email Sara Brown at
sbrown@randallmuseum.org
.
All volunteers will be given storage for personal belongings, on-site training, a food voucher, and our eternal gratitude.
