Advancement of the Terra Sancta Museum Art & History: first Scientific Committee of 2026
The first Scientific Committee of 2026 of the Terra Sancta Museum Art & History took place in Paris, discussing key points for the advancement of the museum.
The Treasures of the Holy Sepulcher: why Art still matters in times of war
The “Treasures of the Holy Sepulcher” collection has traveled to Texas, carrying with it a powerful message: even amid the winds of war, the Terra Sancta Museum reaffirms why art still matters in times of violence.
Dreaming Musical Pilgrimages: Genealogy of the Oldest Organ in the Christian World
Researcher and musicologist David Catalunya retraces his own scholarly journey around the oldest organ in the Christian world, directly from Bethlehem. Through historical research and musical passion, he narrates its symbolic value and its role within the Terra Sancta Museum.
The Cultural Path as a privileged tool for dialogue
Numerous documents preserved in the centuries-old archive of the Custody of the Holy Land attest to the Franciscan presence in the Holy Land. Selected facsimiles of Mamluk and Ottoman firmans will be displayed at the Terra Sancta Museum – Art & History, explored through the voices of two key figures.
One body, many images: Art as a language of Christian unity
In Jerusalem, where Christian plurality is lived daily, art becomes a concrete space of encounter among different Churches during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. In this context the Terra Sancta Museum paves its way.
