Access to the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) remains restricted.
Please review the guidance below:
Unescorted Access
Authorized for individuals with:
CAC
DoD ID
DBIDS
Approved SECNAV 5512/1
Escorted Access
Individuals without the above credentials must be escorted at all times.
Who Can Escort
• CAC/DoD ID holders: up to 10 guests
• DBIDS (with escort authorization): up to 5 guests
The sponsor is responsible for their guests and must maintain visual contact at all times.
Eligibility Requirements
Escorts may bring U.S. citizens only for personal, recreational, or command events.
Accepted ID includes:
REAL ID
U.S. Passport / Passport Card
Enhanced Driver’s License (MI, MN, NY, WA)
Foreign nationals must be processed through the Visitor Access Center (VAC) prior to access.
ID Requirements
All individuals age 18+ must carry valid photo ID and remain with their escort.
Escort Limits
Must remain within the same vehicle (properly seated).
Pedestrian groups may not exceed 10 individuals.
Escort privileges do not extend to additional vehicles.
Additional Information
Trusted Traveler is suspended until further notice.
Greenbury Point remains closed to the public until further notice.
SECNAV 5512/1 forms must be submitted to the VAC at least 10 days prior to the requested access date.
