Conditions and Rules For transferring to the Faculty
Acceptance & Transfere
1. The transfer between corresponding faculties in universities should be central at the university level .
2. Transfer requests may not be accepted after one week from the start of the study.
3. Transfer to IPKA is legaible for students accepted in any governmental medical school.
4. The program is 5 years followed by 2 mandatory years of internship .
5. The program is credit point system, through which the student accomplishes 1800-2010 hours/year where every 30 hours is equivalent to one credit point. Student fulfills the program by passing 314 credit points, that are mandatory for graduation. IPKA & mainstream students follow same bylaws issued by ministry of higher education in 29/08/2023.
6. All students IPKA and mainstream, attend same exams & follow the same schedules allowing equality & similar opportunities upon graduation regarding application for residency & faculty posts.
7. The schedule of teaching is 5 days per week .

Attendence of main stream students is in the lecture halls building, centeral skill lab and practical classes in the basic science departments while clinical rotations are in the faculty hospitals.
9. Attendence for IPKA students is in the LRC building, practical classes are given in the basic science departments while clinicl rotations are in the faculty hospitals .
10. Early electronic admission for IPKA starts in the first of April.
