BSc (Agriculture) Hons. course was started from the academic session 2014-15. It followed the recommendations of 4th Dean's committee report implementing the undergraduate syllabus with 20 percent regional resilience and is common throughout India. The department has a strong faculty, well equipped 13 laboratories, agronomic fields, tractor and farm machines as per ICAR norms. The department has all the required facilities of Poly-house, Vermi Compost unit for organic agriculture, drip and sprinkler irrigation system. It has units of medicinal and aromatic plants.
