Soon to become Mississippi Christian University.
200 years since the first students stepped foot on its historic campus, Mississippi’s oldest institution of higher learning and the second oldest Baptist university in the nation will officially adopt a new name that more clearly reflects who we are and what we stand for as an institution. Beginning June 1, Mississippi College officially becomes Mississippi Christian University.
