IIST also offers several stand-alone postgraduate programs in various specializations of space science and technology, including satellite systems, space communications, and spacecraft systems.
These programmes offer in depth knowledge on specific areas leading to research and other employment opportunities. During the four semesters programmes, candidates carry out a project in the final year either within the institute or from R&D organization. After successful completion of the project, sufficient credit will be provided.
