Our mission is to build community and to support students, teachers, staff and parents of Eastside Catholic. Enrichment Grants - PFSA funds grants to enhance the learning environment. Parent/Student Events - PFSA plans a Mother/Son Liturgy and Brunch, a Mother/Daughter Fashion Show and Brunch, a Father/Daughter Candlelight Liturgy and Dinner and a Father/Son event. Please email Director of Campus Ministry Lynn Kittridge, lkittridge@eastsidecatholic.org As part of the mission of Eastside Catholic School to “…inspire a life of leadership and service to others,” all students are expected to complete annual community service hours. Hours served during the summer preceding the school year count towards the yearly goal. Total hours for students who enroll after the fall semester will be prorated according to their enrollment date. More detailed community service information can be found here MIddle School High School For middle school students, the goals for each year are: Sixth grade = 10 hours Seventh grade = 15 hours Eighth grade = 20 hours The middle school student's 4th quarter report card will read "MET" or "NOT MET" to reflect whether they have served and logged their yearly goal hours. For high school students: Grades 9 - 12 = 25 hours per year is recommended per year to reach the 100-hour graduation goal. Once a high school student has served their total hours (their goal by graduation), the expectation is met (regardless of the year of completion). At that point, their transcript will read "MET" to indicate they have met their goal by graduation. High school students may earn a varsity letter in community service by completing 100 hours of service by May 1 of the current school year.
