Our Campus
Most Atlantans associate Pace Academy with our iconic “Castle” with its arched entryway, towering turrets and leaded windows. Pace first found its home within this beloved building’s granite walls, but our current footprint extends far beyond what fronts W. Paces Ferry Road.
From the rear of the Castle, you’ll gaze out over the 34 acres of gardens, fields and facilities that make up our main campus. A satellite athletics complex is home to our student-athletes and their spirited fans.
There’s simply too much to see in one visit, but here’s a look at several of the spaces that make Pace.

In November 2024, the Pace Academy Board of Trustees unanimously approved an Updated Master Campus Plan. The plan addresses essential needs—safety, parking, accessibility and athletics—while maintaining our enrollment, preserving our current campus footprint and honoring the residential character of our neighborhood.
Specifically, the Master Campus Plan adds:
A dedicated
campus security facility
with a more visible, centralized presence to help all members of our community feel safe and supported.
100+ new parking spaces
at the rear of campus, easing parking for faculty, staff and visitors, while reducing neighborhood traffic.
A state-of-the-art performance training and fitness center
with added training space, restrooms, medical support and equipment for student-athletes and PE students.
A new artificial turf practice field
atop Pace Mountain, along with a
full-size turf field
for football, soccer and lacrosse on the rear field—creating versatile, all-weather space for PE, athletics, recess and community events.
Check out the video below to see what’s coming:
Throughout the planning process, we have partnered with the
West Paces Neighborhood Association
(WPNA) to refine the Master Campus Plan. We are excited to move forward with the zoning process and, ultimately, obtain approval from the City of Atlanta. Our hope is to tackle these projects in 2026.
